About Izzy

I have studied BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy for four years at Harper Adams University. I am a fully qualified veterinary physiotherapist and a member of NAVP (National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists). I have completed a 6 month placement and a weekend job at Physio-Vet gaining invaluable experience. I also completed a 5 month placement working at Wright and Morten Equine clinic. Along with these placements I have also gained further experience during weeks with Agnew Equine vets and other small animal practices including Hunts vets and Marple vets.

I come from a background of horses, having competed from a young age. I have been a member of Peak Pony club and have competed British Eventing since I was 12. I have also worked for a 5* event rider at AH eventing, working with competition and riding club horses. I have also completed a summer season working for a professional polo player. This background means that I understand the need for horses to be in peak condition so that they can perform to the best of their ability, it also means that I have felt the benefits that the horses gain from veterinary physiotherapy.

I have also worked with different breeds of dogs, having worked at Birch Hall Kennels and cattery. My weekend job at Physio-Vet means I have worked along side competition dogs of different disciplines, learning about the rehabilitation for sporting injuries.
