CONTACT US

The 'Veterinary surgeons act 1966' states that it is a legal requirement that a veterinary physiotherapist has veterinary consent prior to assessing or treating your animal.

What this means…

Your vet will need to refer your pet to a vet physio. When you contact IP Vet Physiotherapy for an initial chat, we will ask you to call your vet and ask them to refer you to us. If your animal has been seen by their vet within the last 12 months (including for routine check ups and vaccinations), your vet is highly likely to sign off the referral immediately. If not, your vet will need to make an appointment for your vet to see your animal in person in order to get the referral.

Once the referral is made, we can have our initial consultation and get started on the physiotherapy your animal requires.
